PROGRAM ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

1. INCOMING STUDENTS:

This procedure applies only to candidates from the Master's course approved in the PPGEE Selection Process and who are enrolling for the first time. The registration procedure has three steps:

I. Showing interest in the vacancy: to show interest in the vacancy, a copy of the completed and signed Application Form must be sent to the Administration´s e-mail address: ppgee@ufscar.br, within the deadline described in the Schedule of Activities of the Current Selection Process.

II. Enrollment: to start enrollment, the Registration Form must be sent, DIGITALLY completed and saved in MS-Word format, to the Administration's email, ppgee@ufscar.br, during the period described in the Schedule of Activities of the current Selection Process.

After sending the Registration Form, students should receive an email with instructions for accessing the ProPG-Web system. After accessing this system, students should consult the current Academic Schedule together with their advisor and enroll in the courses that they will take in the current semester. If there are any doubts about enrolling in courses at ProPG-Web, please read the student manual. Only the option "Take courses" should be selected as an activity, and the desired courses should be selected to pre-enroll in courses.

III. Enrollment Process: the enrollment process will always take place in the first week of class, as described in the Notice. In this first week of class, all students must introduce themselves in person at the Administration of DEE, located in the Electrical Engineering Department (DEE) at UFSCar, and present the following original documents:

a. Registered undergraduate diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education or, provisionally, the certificate or equivalent document.

b. CPF and RG (National Driver's License (CNH) will not be accepted). In the case of international students, please present a certified copy of the RNE (ID card).


2. REGULAR STUDENTS:

Master´s students regularly enrolled in the PPGEE must follow the procedures below.

According to Art. 13 of the PPGEE Internal Regulations:
Paragraph 3 - The enrollment of regular students must be renewed every six months, according to the opinion of the advisor regarding the forthcoming activities in the semester of enrollment, under penalty of being considered dropouts and disconnected from the Program.

Therefore, regularly enrolled students must access the ProPG-Web system, respecting the Academic Calendar enrollment period, and enroll in activities that, in agreement with the advisor, will be carried out in the current semester. In case of doubts about this procedure, please consult the student manual.

Students who have not yet totaled the credits in courses required in the Internal Regulations should enroll in the courses exclusively through the ProPG-Web System.

Enrollments outside the period stipulated in the Academic Calendar will not be accepted.

According to Art. 18 of the Internal Regulations, fulfilling credits in courses must be made within a maximum period of one year (12 months) for the Master´s degree, counting from the date of enrollment in the program.
Paragraph 1 - Students who have not been awarded a scholarship to take the course may be granted a period of one more semester to complete the credits in courses, at the discretion of the CPG.
