Request for temporary withdrawal from the course

Procedure for requesting temporary withdrawal
According to the PPGEE Internal Regulations:

Art. 14 - Temporary withdrawal may be approved by the CPG at any time, for reasons that prevent the student from attending the program, upon justification by the applicant and after hearing the advisor.

§ 1 - The duration of the withdrawal is counted from the date of the student´s request and cannot exceed the date of the next registration renewal.
§ 2 - Exceptionally, if the student is taking a course (s) whose credits are necessary for fulfilling the credits in courses foreseen for his/her program, the starting date of the withdrawal will be considered as the beginning of the corresponding academic activities. In this case, if any other required activity has been carried out in the period, the result will not be affected by the withdrawal.
§ 3 - At any time, before the next enrollment renewal, if the reason that prevented the student from attending the course is not reported, his/her enrollment can be reactivated by the CPG, after hearing the advisor.
§ 4 - The CPG may approve a maximum of 6 (six) months of enrollment withdrawal for Master´s students.
§ 5 - In the case of registration withdrawal(s), the maximum deadlines stipulated for the completion of the program must be extended for an equal period.

To make the request, the Withdrawal Request Form should be sent to ppgee@ufscar.br, including the justification and signatures of the student and the advisor.
