    Definition of Special Student in PPGEE Courses

    PPGEE will be able to accept enrollment in certain courses of a person who holds an undergraduate diploma and not regularly enrolled in the Program, aiming at their professional improvement. This status is called “Special Student” according to the PPGEE. Those who enroll in courses as a Special Student will be subject to meeting the requirements defined by the respective responsible faculty members.

    Undergraduate students who have less than 3 years to complete their course may enroll as Special Students in courses offered by the Program.

    Students who are eventually accepted into a PPGEE course are not candidates for a Master's degree in this Postgraduate Program, but are only students of courses offered by the PPGEE, and are entitled to a statement at the end of the course.

    Important:

    1. Students enrolled in the PPGEE who have taken a subject as a special student may request recognition of credits provided they were taken a maximum of 3 (three) years before enrolling as a regular student.
    2. For students of the UFSCar electrical engineering undergraduate course, it is necessary to pay attention to the deadline for filling out the form, as it usually differs from the undergraduate deadline, and, therefore, the registration deadline may be missed.

    Registration Procedure

    1. Consult the Current Academic Schedule and the Academic Calendar;
    2. Complete the Registration Form to the PPGEE Special Student and send the copy received by email to ppgee@ufscar.br (in .PDF format), together with a copy of the following documents:

    (a) RG or RNE (Not CNH – driving license)/ID Card;
    (b) CPF;
    (c) For graduates, Undergraduate Diploma or equivalent document;
    (d) In the case of an undergraduate student, a document proving that the student is expected to graduate WITHIN THE REQUIRED PERIOD;


    This procedure must be done during the period described in the Call for Special Students on the PPGEE website.
